    Really cool set up. Very unique design on that handle.
    I am personally a little more partial to the original leuku blade design that you started with but that's just me. So is that pattern on the steel etched on?
    I've always wondered why they do that.
    That sheath is killer. Love the clasp set up.

    Thanks guys...and yes Nor'easter patterns is etched out rather than on the Damascus is a multi-steel, forged and folded and when acid ethched the different steels eat away at different rates leaving the folded pattern visible and physical texture as well.

    Ok I get it now. The acid reveals the differentiation in the steels used. Cool
