Masters of the North - a new series in development for the history channel is currently seeking experts in the field of knife and swordmaking. You could be in an expert in japanese swordmaking. An expert in military style swords and knives....or an all around know it all when it comes to all things knives and swords.

This would require your availability over multiple episodes if cast.

Please contact Michael at mbarrick@propertelevision.com for more information.

HI all - I'm still looking for experts in the field! I'd love to get on a skype call or a facetime to discuss your expertise - this is a fantastic opportunity for a great knifemaker/bladesmith/historian. Please do get in touch!!!

Michael, can you tell us a little bit about the format of the show? Is it something like a Canadian version of Forged in Fire or is it something completely different?

I too am curious about what the rough format would be. Is this down the lines of a bladesmith competition, a documentary piece about bladesmiths, or a show about ancient weapons and such where you are looking for historians to talk about historical weapons and such?

I've been wondering the same thing. Any word on when we can expect it to air. I'm looking forward to it.
