I'm not sure if I'm being impatient here or not but I haven't gotten anything in the mail yet. Maybe the sender should track the package before the PO goes on strike. It could end up in the Twilight Zone with our tax dollars. Frank

from 2013 Theme - everyday carry (EDC) with a maximum overall length of 7'' (178mm) Style - Scandinavian (traditional or the maker's interpretation) from 2013 winter Viking styles. You can make a knife, a sword, an axe, or whatever you choose. You can go with something historically accurate, or something that wouldn't look out of place in your favorite Viking movie or television program. from 2015 'bush craft style' knife of your own size, materials and specifications. from 2016 Paring or Bird & Trout Knife 4" blade length maximum. Try to keep it under 8" long. (This isn't a Bowie KITH.) So far nothing of the chef varieties has been done and there are a few that have made a kitchen knife and it is not outside the skill set of beginners. Since last year was a paring knife style maybe a Santoku, Partoku or Chefs knife with optional Saya? Mind you I have one here already and in S35vn but actually hope it and the CPM154 version are long gone before the KITH. Another one that is interesting and good for kitchen and hunting is an ULU, maybe a new design will come out of this. Mine has been in use for a few months and I have to say it is handy in the kitchen. The one request I had when I made one for a Inuit lady was the edge be single sided and with a 25 degree bevel for ease of sharpening plus that angle was the one she preferred when working on hides.
Damn. I started making knives 2 years too late. Obviously I would have been all over this one Looking forward to the next KITH. Hopefully I'll be paying attention to the forum when it rolls around.
There will be more and everyone gets to vote on type or style of knife, that does not mean make ten profiles and stack votes though.
