5160 Chopper

    A decent sized chopper, forged and ground. It's a piece of leaf spring which I think is 5160. Handle is stabilized box elder burl with an ebony insert and brass hardware.

    FYI, still working on my photography skills. I might get the wife to start taking photos; she has a much better eye than I do.

    That's a lot of hammering. Nice work. I like the forward weighted semi-kukri shape. I bet she chops!

    Oh man, I love a good kukri style knife. Anything with a recurve I like. Function aside, they're just really nice looking blades. Great job.
