316 Question

    Thanks Dan - good points. Yes, a threaded SS butt cap. I just finished my first through tang but it was with Nickel/Silver and like you suggest, I drilled through and plugged the hole. In my case I used the same Lacey Inlace epoxy that I used in the handle for that knife and it turned out okay.

    However, the 316 SS caught me by surprise - I had no idea. Anyway, it's all good now and looking forward to making a few more. I still struggle with drilling out the bolsters though. My files and drill bits are definitely due for some upgrading - maybe I'll put in a hint for Father's Day.
