Rick I just made a simple board with dollar store hooks, they roughly have about 6” of length on them, and then just marked the board from 36G-220G and the a second board 320G-2000G and screwed the boards to the wall! Doesn’t have to be fancy, but I think hanging them is a good idea;)

From Dan’s advice I keep my blue scotchbrite belts out of the grinding room so they don’t get gunked up. Not sure if you have those, but it’s sound advice:D

Same here. Old board with nails for me. I went up to the ceiling in my garage though. Space is at a premium for me now so I went as high up as I could with things. I made a "belt grabbing" stick from an old hockey stick and a metal hook on it to reach them. Works great.

Rolled and on shelf is supposed to be the best way to store but every knife maker shop I have seen pictures of they hang there belts.

One word of caution though is to make sure the edges of the belt do not curl up when resting on the hook. Only noticed that happen yesterday and boy did the belt haul ass across the shop after rolling of the grinder at full speed.
