You gotta be baty making neck armour
I can guarantee you'd be a better Batman than Ben Affleck. The Joker would be a better Batman than Ben Affleck.
Hens why it based on the Dark Knight rises...
I have to place an order with ohio handbag and will be getting some aluminum side squeeze buckles for dog collars and bags.
what size would you guys want? so far 60 of these in the cart https://ohiotravelbag.com/C-2084/1+Metal+Side+Squeeze+Buckle+Nickel
Normally I post my knife sheaths but here is a collar I just finished for ZUES the Bull Mastiff. 27" neck. Used a conway buckle typically used for horse harness to hold it together.
That is cool! love your work Eric.
Awesome collar. Love the name tag.
A couple I have made, well one is actually a belt for a young lad but my dog is modelling it
Have been asked to make more so it was bulk hardware time. One Inch buckles, snaps and Dee rings all in black this month and Chrome, Stainless Steel or Brass next month.
Rolled dogs collars for dogs long long hair to hair that mats easily. These were made for Siberian Huskies that have a outer and inner coat. Dogs are owned by our kennel operator. And totally unrelated is a picture of the wallet I made for her with my attempt at carving a husky and hopefully making it look like a husky.
I make handles like that but never thought of it for collars .
My collie might appreciate it, he has inner and outer fur thing going on
Same build technique and the kennel operator specifically requested this style because of the dual fur layers. Reports are they are working really well.
So this was the idea behind the bat collar....this one will have to be revisited for a couple of reasons.
the leather that I had on hand was not of the proper thickness to be able to show off the detail and it was way to dry.
the other thing was once the dye was applied it went even dryer where it cracked at the slightest bending .
When this happens stop and apply a coating of Neatsfoot oil 100% and let it sit overnight. This will restore the softness and allow parts to be bent without cracking
Thanks John! Ill look in to it.
Would be a good think to have when you by leather off of Kijiji
